Albemarle was founded in 1997 by its two current Principals James Eytle and Beverley Mellon. One of London’s leading independent sixth form colleges Albemarle offers a wide range of A-level courses alongside an intensive one-year GCSE programme, with the majority of students progressing on to study at Russell Group universities. David Game became a partner in Albemarle in 1998 joining the Board of Governors and helping to establish Albemarle in its current location in the heart of Mayfair.
